
Caroline Aramendia (she/her) is a junior dance management major at Oklahoma City University. Originally from Arlington, VA, Caroline received an artistic certificate from Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington D.C. and is certified in American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum. While at Oklahoma City University, she has studied pedagogy, performance, production, and the business side of dance!
Caroline's original choreography has been showcased at Vienna Youth Players (Newsies), Washington Liberty High School (The Prom), James Madison High School (Mamma Mia), and more! Additionally, Caroline seasonally teaches theatre, voice, and dance at Encore Stage & Studio. As a long-term substitute teacher for Arlington Public Schools, she has played a significant role in their middle school Dance P.E. program.

My mission is to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and instill confidence in my community by creating an inclusive environment where exploration and artistry can occur.
This summer, Caroline will serve as a long-term substitute for Arlington Public Schools’ dance PE program and as an assistant director for their production Dancing Through the Decades. Caroline is also excited to return to Encore Stage & Studio for her third year, teaching theatre and dance to young performers. Furthermore, she will return for her second season with Vienna Youth Players, as a choreographer for their production of Anastasia: The Musical. In addition, she will join the faculty at Virginia Dance Conservatory, teaching a variety of dance styles. Finally, Caroline will return to Carpe Diem Arts to work at their sleepaway arts camps, helping young artists explore and develop their creative talents.
